The location was magnificent and incredible, just a pleasant stroll away from a Roman Catholic church. We found the staff affable and attentive.

I always come back because I remember their helpful staff when they printed something for me on my first stay. This place has everything I need: free Wi-Fi, luggage storage, coffee shop, and laundry. Perfect for my city breaks.

The man on recpetion was charming! We asked him where the Launrdomat was, and instead he washed and dried our clothes himself! Our room was lovely (3rd floor, room 7) - we only had a washbasin, with the shower and toilet being on the 2nd floor, but I think we only shared it with one other room. The location is fantastic! There is a very good bakery a couple of doors up to get breakfast or lunch.

There is no handbasin in the toilet - so take hand santisier with you. Other than that - couldn´t fault this place!

We loved the locartion-in a narrow street of the old town, and very central.

We had to keep asking for the WiFi connection,which was switched off.

We stayed at an ideal hotel for a brief stop. The room had a sink and a great view outside the window. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The location was perfect, close to the river, cathedral, market, and cafes. The check-in process was flawless, and the hotel had a charming decor with a beautiful old building. We had a lovely room with a window overlooking the street. Upgrading to a slightly more expensive room gave us an even nicer room on the top floor with an awesome view over a medieval street. Breakfast was included.

There was nothing we didn't like about our stay. 🤷‍♀️

A lovingly-restored, hotel with a lot of character. Great location in the heart of Bayonne, 5 minutes from the bus stop that takes you to the airport and the beach in Biarritz.

I recently stayed at Hotel Des Arceaux during my trip to Bayonne. The hotel's quirky and welcoming decor was a refreshing change from the usual chain hotels. Sebastian, the staff member, went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, even finding me an English book to read during my return visit. The homely atmosphere created by the adorable dogs added to the charm of the hotel. The showers were powerful and effective, ensuring a refreshing start to each day. I highly recommend Hotel Des Arceaux for its unique atmosphere and excellent service.

pretty room, nice staff and good location; in order to visit the city and get a bus & train. I was really satisfied with the hotel. The price is attractive as well.

Very pleasant stay, as always. Pleasant accommodation with INCREDIBLE setting not far from Bayonne for 2 nights, and the centre of old town and old buildings. The breakfasts for basic fare. Efficient check-in, parking nearby.

Had comfort double room with double bed, a private WC plus internet. Amicable staff and management. Location adjacent to the cathedral, theatre/main bus stops and shops. For tea or coffee visit Sua Bonta nearby.

A rather idiosyncratic place! It is an old merchant's house above shops in the pedestrianised old town. The room had comfortable, clean beds and bedding. Only one sachet of soap/shampoo per person supplied - that covered a shower and so nothing to use when washing hands after using the tiolet. The door to the room needed attention as we could only shut it by slamming it! The breakfast was the traditional French one of bread, croissant, coffee and really jam. The staff very pleasant. I would recommend it with the reservations mentioned above.
